The study has also revealed the biological connection between sleep and headaches. The study was conducted by a panel of researchers at the Missouri State University.
These have been previous researches in the domain however, not much has been uncovered as far as underlying biological link is concerned which has been found to trigger migraine pains. The team of researchers considers the new findings as a breakthrough which may reveal the molecular changed responsible for the nagging problem faced by several people.
As per www.webmd.com, the study was carried out a number of rats which were kept deprived of proper sleep. It was recorded in the study that due to sleep deprivation, rats secreted increased levels of proteins which leads to stimulation of the nervous system while increasing the expression of the proteins in the body thereby triggering migraine.
