As we reported earlier this week Eva Longoria has filed for divorce from Tony Parker after allegations of him and Erin Barry having an affair. In a twist to the story it appears that Parker is now counter filing for a divorce from Longoria.
Eva Longoria’s husband Tony Parker was reported to have been texting former San Antonio Spurs team mate Brent Barry’s wife and upon discovering the flirty messages, Longoria opted to call time on their three year marriage.
Claims in the media today speculate that Parker filed for divorce in Bexar County, Texas, stating that that the marriage had become intolerable and was “insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities”.
There seems to be no going back for either party and papers are also claiming that the extent of the damage caused by the marital conflict means there is almost no chance of reconciliation between the couple.
Longoria filed for divorce from the NBA star on Wednesday of last week after she allegedly discovered the text messages between her husband and Erin Barry which totalled more than a hundred.
The couple were married in July 2007 but only five months after their nuptials they strongly denied talk of an affair between Parker and model Alexandra Paressant.
Something of a divorce tennis match is brewing here and no doubt there will be more twists yet.
