Personal finance expert Suze Orman underwent an emergency operation to have her infected appendix removed. According to reports by the Chicago Sun Times, Suze entered a Chicago-area hospital over the weekend in order to have the procedure done. The broadcast journalist, who also makes regular appearances on Oprah Winfrey’s show and writes for her ‘O’ magazine, was in Chicago for a visit at the time.
After being released from hospital, 59-year-old Suze was reportedly recovering in a Chicago hotel before planning to return to her home in Florida.
Suze’s spokesperson told the media that she would be “taking a couple of days to recover before returning home”.
Suze Orman is an award-winning TV host, columnist, and motivational speaker. She is also a successful author, having written seven New York Times bestsellers, including ‘The Road To Wealth’ and ‘Suze Ormans’ 2010 Action Plan: New Rules For New Times’. Suze currently hosts a TV show on CNBC, called the ‘The Suze Orman Show’.
Other celebrities who have made recent trips to hospital include Bret Michaels, Mindy McCready and Shawn King.
