Another day, another celebrity rehab customer and it’s not Charlie Sheen. Well, not yet anyway.
No, today it’s the turn of Seann William Scott, the blonde haired, rubber faced goof with the big teeth and physics defying grin from such quality flicks as Dude Where’s My Car?, Evolution and of course his defining role as Stifler in teen classic American Pie.
Apparently the career clown, born on 3rd October, 1976 and who recently appeared briefly in a Jackass 3D skit as a football referee voluntarily checked himself into a rehab clinic although the nature of the treatment and name of the center has been kept secret. Clearly he doesn’t want his fans to know what he’s been up to and one assumes it’s something with more stigma attached to it than a drug or alcohol related addiction or problem.
The only information available came from his representatives who told E! News: “Seann William Scott has voluntarily admitted himself for proactive treatment to address health and personal issues.”
They also stressed that “he appreciates the support of his many fans at this time.”
For a fairly well known celebrity not much is known about Seann William Scott and his private life as the 34 year old keeps his affairs to himself – and to his credit. It’s refreshing to see film and music stars who don’t hawk media attention and it’s fairly clear that his rehab message was given to concerned fans in a bid to allay their worries.
Please share your thoughts on Seann William Scott’s admittance to rehab by leaving a comment.
