Police raid Charlie Sheen's Sober Valley Lodge

In yet another episode in the Charlie Sheen soap opera police raided the former Two and a Half Men star’s home after what is alleged to have been a crank call made by someone stating that Sheen was armed with a gun.

The LAPD used a search warrant to enter his home and seize any dangerous weapons they might find but after a thorough rummage through his ‘Sober Valley Lodge’ abode police only managed to find an antique rifle and a few bullets – this according to Sheen’s lawyer, Mark Gross.

This is how police may have found Charlie Sheen last night

The actor was compliant with officers and judging by the flavour of his tweets today it sounds like he actually enjoyed the visit made by fifty police officers.

On a day with more than a few twists for the media hand grenade; police were said to have been called by an anonymous tipster who told them the actor was intending to harm himself with a gun. On the same day he reached an out-of-court agreement with his ex-wife Brooke Mueller over custody of their children.

Mueller was previously awarded a restraining order against Sheen after he was alleged to have beaten her, and part of the order included the prohibiting of possessing weapons; further reason for the police to act so quickly.

Throughout the search Sheen, his lawyers and a few friends retired to the garden where they ate hamburgers while they waited.

[adsense]After the police left Sheen tweeted: “#fastball; the LAPD were AWESOME. Absolute pros! they can protect and serve this Warlock anytime!!! c” which he then followed with: #fastball; 101 and on the black. 50 cops in my home. they all left. I’m still here. WINNING? 24/7 c”

Officers have categorically stated that no drugs were found in the house but the antique rifle aside, they didn’t leave completely empty handed as they were called back to Sheen’s residence after an intruder was reported to be in grounds of his home.

It turns out an obsessed acolyte had hopped a back fence in a bid to meet his idol. The 26 year old man was arrested and the whole event was caught on camera from a KTLA helicopter.
