Malcom in the Middle star Frankie Muniz denies suicide threat and assault

Frankie Muniz is denying that his lovers’ quarrel went off the rails, amid claims that there was a gun involved and that he assaulted his girlfriend.

According to a police report, the 25-year-old actor-turned-race-car-driver allegedly put a loaded gun to his head, “possibly with the intent of committing suicide” in a heated quarrel with Elycia Turnbow over “prior relationships”.

Muniz, who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, denied this saying he only grabbed the gun case. As to whether he took a nasty swipe at his publicist girlfriend, he insisted: “No, I love her too much. She is the woman I want to marry.”

A rep for the couple, who were both charged with disorderly conduct, released a statement that read: “Frankie and Elycia had an argument a few days ago. The police were called to the residence.

“A gun played no part in the argument and was voluntarily given to the police for safekeeping.

“There were no bruises and neither left the residence. He was not suicidal. She was not assaulted.

“They have been together since the incident; are still together and are moving forward with their lives and with their relationship.”
