Ever since her televized Botox procedure for ‘Keeping up with Kardashians’, which left her with a bruised and swollen face, Kim Kardashian’s blog has been flooded with mails from fans giving her both good and bad feedback.
According to People.com, the TV reality star recently tried to clarify a few misunderstandings about her procedure: “I’ve been getting lots of emails and comments regarding the Botox episode of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ so I wanted to address this today to clear some things up.”
Talking about the doctor who gave her the facial jabs, she said: “On the show you saw I had some bruising around my eyes after the procedure, which is totally natural, but because I hadn’t looked into the side effects, I freaked out. In no way was Dr. Kassabian a bad doctor… it wasn’t a botched job at all!! In fact, I would recommend him to anyone wanting to get a procedure done.”
As reported by www.popeater.com, the 29-year-old star considers Botox treatment good but refuses to tread that lane again in the near future. “I am not against Botox, and I would never judge anyone else for getting any kind of surgical or non surgical procedure, but I think when you’re young there are other ways you can look after your skin… that help keep you looking young and beautiful. Botox just wasn’t necessary for me at this age.”
With their quest for an ever-youthful look, Botox is no stranger to celebrities, from Pamela Anderson to Kathy Griffin. The vanity jab, however, is not just good for zapping the tell tale signs of ageing, it has recently also been approved as a successful preventative treatment for people suffering from migraines.
