The death of Brittany Murphy in December raised many questions. Did she die of natural causes? Did she have a heart problem? Was her diabetes involved? Did she take too many drugs? All these questions are to be answered next week, according to RadarOnline.com, whose source claims the long-awaited toxicology reports will then be due.
An initial autopsy conducted just after the actress’ death on December 20, 2009, found everything looked normal. A toxicology report will now determine whether outside influences (like drugs) could be found in her system.
After rumours and allegations began circulating in the media that Brittany was taking drugs, both her mom and husband, Simon Monjack, lashed out to deny them, claiming Brittany never took drugs.
The toxicology report will finally shed some light onto the matter.
Brittany Murphy was found unresponsive in the shower by her mother five days before Christmas last year. Paramedics were called to the scene, however the actress was pronounced dead upon arrival at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. The cause of death was cardiac arrest.
