Ever since sultry stunner Megan Fox found her way into the limelight, she has known no peace from the media, scrutinising her practically perfect face and physique. And with such fame come the rumours of plastic surgery. Of course, how could anyone look so good naturally?
Though the “Transformers“ star has always denied ever having gone under the knife, newly surfaced pictures have sparked yet another frenzied debate among celebrity watchers over whether that is really the case. Ms Fox was snapped covering her face with the hood of a winter jacket on New Year’s day while out with on-off boyfriend Brian Austin Green showing what appear to be plumper and slightly sore looking lips (click to Metro to see the picture).
Not usually one to shy away from cameras, Megan made a quick escape from the paparazzi, fuelling rumours even further that she may have something to hide.
The incident has also been invariably linked to the long-standing Megan Fox – Angelina Jolie debate, with many sources claiming the former’s new lip-job was a bid to become more like the “Lara Croft“ actress. Brought into association due to their exceptional dark good looks and love for tattoos, the pair have been the subject of everyone’s scrutiny, even Ange’s dad Jon Voight, who unsurprisingly cast his vote in favour of his daughter.
On being asked whether he thought Angelina was similar to Megan, he reportedly said: “I don’t think she is, no. She’s one of our finest actresses. She’s gotten to that point in her career. Megan is just starting out,“ diplomatically adding, “but she has a lot of potential“.
Ms Fox’s response: “People compare me to Angelina Jolie, and she’s so serious and stoic. I’m the opposite,“ the New York Times reported.
Voted “Sexiest Woman in the World“ by FHM magazine, the 23-year-old does not see anything wrong with being considered a looker. Speaking to The Times she said: “Getting typecast as what? Attractive? How bad is that?” She adds. “That’s not really a bad thing. If people want to look at me like that I find it flattering. And it gives me an advantage because people don’t expect anything from me. If I show up and give any sort of performance at all, even a mediocre one, everyone will walk away going, ‘Holy shit! Megan did a great job in that movie!’ So I’m an overachiever just by default because of the category I’ve been put in.“Tags: plastic surgery
